WE ARE OPEN!…
We’re open! And the weather is just perfect to show the cattery looking at its best.
We’ve touched up all the paintwork and re-stained the benches. We’ve sorted out a couple of floors that had seen better days, and have siliconed all the windows. We’ve put hedgehog gutter guard in all the gutters to hopefully avoid the problem of overflowing gutters because they’re blocked with vegetation from the massive conifers that surround the cattery. Everything has been washed, cleaned, mopped and polished within an inch of its life. We have a new whiteboard in the cat kitchen for details of all our furry guests, and a separate board for those on medication of any kind. We hope you’ll notice the differences – but also hope that you’ll be happy that your feline friends get the same level of love, care and attention as previously. And we welcome Rain, who is with us for a week’s work experience; we hope you have a great week.
First in through the doors were Buddy & Baggy, who also happened to be the last cats standing when we closed the doors at the beginning of January, and Molly, whose mum & dad are away for the holiday of a lifetime. And we’re gearing up to a very busy Spring & Summer season, with the months through to September filling up fast. It’s been lovely not to have to get up at 6.30 every morning but we’ve really, really missed the cuddles and are looking forward to seeing you and your feline friends very soon.
