Our ‘behind the scenes’ cats

So you all know Sonny and Sindy, and Jane’s ‘gang of four’; and a couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to our handyperson, Nikki’s cat, Eva, who firmly believes she’s a dog!

Just to show it’s not just the front of house team who are cat mad, we’d like to introduce you to a few more fabulous felines who belong to – or own! – some of our backstage team.

First off are Smudge (b&w) and Toffee (tabby), who live happily with Tricia, our marvellous resident seamstress. They’re litter siblings, who will be 13 in August, and are well known to Jane, as Tricia is her neighbour. Lovely, cuddly cats, who have a daily walk round the garden on a harness, and can happily co-exist as long as they have room to avoid each other!

Then, there’s Bird (tabby & white), Mouse (black, with a tiny bit of white), and Mynx (all black). This trio live with our website and social media person, Dave, and have a combined age of 59! Mouse and Bird are both 23 years young, and Mynx is 13, the same age as Dave’s dog, Dante, who is a rescue from Romania.

And to complete the line-up, a familiar face for you – beautiful Chibi, who is a real character who you’ll have seen before, and who is definitely the boss of our electrician, Perry.

So we’re all definitely crazy cat people!
