An update on the future of the cattery
Dear valued friends and customers
With the turn of the year, we thought it timely to update you on the state of play on the future of the cattery.
We have a buyer for the Cat’s Whiskers – we have sold,subject to contract – and hope that the new owners will take over in April / May. We have now closed until 1st March; this gives us time to do our winter deep clean and deal with any running repairs. We’ll continue to take bookings for 2026 during the closed period. These will be considered confirmed bookings from 1st March and will be guaranteed until the end of May. All bookings post May will still be provisional just in case the sale falls through, though we are optimistic that this won’t happen and there will be a smooth transition to new ownership. So we’re very happy to take your bookings and will hopefully be able to confirm arrangements in the New Year when we are a bit further down the line.
